Google has become quite an entity, and they have managed taken control of the mapping market with google maps, and google earth. well last year they added google sky which allowed to view the sky from where you are on the planet and anywhere else. and now they are moving on to the only other thing left to map, the ocean. it will be exciting to be able to view the ocean in detail.
"We know far more about the surface of Mars from a few weeks of radar surveying in orbit than we know of the bottom of the ocean after two centuries."
