HOLY SHIT!

apparently there was an entire year in between when i stopped posting last year to my new posts. i did not do that on purpose at all. THAT IS CRAZY. I'm a fucking robot or something.

IE 7 as a plant.

When you install Internet Explorer 7, accidentally because of the update, you notice just how irritating windows is. let me explain it with a metaphor.

You have a nice plot of dirt. flat, solid and this plot represents your computer as is. IE 7 is a seed you plant in this plot and as it grows the roots spread throughout the dirt. and when you decide "hey i hate IE 7 cause it is fucking stupid." and you decide to uninstall it. it is like tearing the plant out of the ground. and as the plant is torn from the ground the ground comes with it. leaving the ground all disfigured and malformed. and the ground will never be the same.

Also i always like to use this as a way to describe the OS's. Unix is a circle, Linux is a triangle, and OS is a katamari ball. UNIX over time they evenly added updates. Linux was the same way. but DOS they just clumped stuff on at random times and at the end they had this giant disfigured ball of added and un-needed stuff.

Ten Thousand Cents

""Ten Thousand Cents" is a digital artwork that creates a representation of a $100 bill. Using a custom drawing tool, thousands of individuals working in isolation from one another painted a tiny part of the bill without knowledge of the overall task. Workers were paid one cent each via Amazon's Mechanical Turk distributed labor tool. The total labor cost to create the bill, the artwork being created, and the reproductions available for purchase are all $100. The work is presented as a video piece with all 10,000 parts being drawn simultaneously. The project explores the circumstances we live in, a new and uncharted combination of digital labor markets, "crowdsourcing," "virtual economies," and digital reproduction."

this is so cool, i just wonder how many of the rectangles have penises drawn in. i do like the detail most o the people put into some of their drawings.

Lucky us, unlucky planet.

well technically the earth didn't exist 70,000 years ago, since it was created by god at around 600 B.C. during the agricultural revolution. but i digress apparently we as a species almost died out 70,000 years ago. according to scientists they are speculating it was caused by drought.

ugh

Gots to go to work. repairing RV's. random ass job but it pays really good so i cannot complain. plus if everything works out today i get to talk to jess at 4. woot.

Adam and Steve?

A human being should be able to be connected legally to another human being, without regard to anything other than their genetic proximity. the only reasoning behind anyone protesting gay marriage is because of religion and its problems with man on man vs. women on women. and that is why religion is such a ridiculous thing when it is blown out of proportion and contorted out of the purpose it is their for. to give hope and substance to life.

Question?

if their is no such thing as evolution, than indulge me in reasoning why we need to get a new flu vaccine every year?

No, there is no evolution. :|

Italian wall lizards introduced to a tiny island off the coast of Croatia are evolving in ways that would normally take millions of years to play out, new research shows.

In just a few decades the 5-inch-long (13-centimeter-long) lizards have developed a completely new gut structure, larger heads, and a harder bite, researchers say.

so let me get this straight, people see evolution within their lifetime. and science backs up what is happening to these lizards, but instead of looking at evidence and actually using their brains, people instead resort to their "invisible friends" as the reason behind these things. people are dumb.

Awhile it has been...

well i got bored with just complaining to myself or people who don't care. so i am going to start blogging again. not that anyone is actually reading this or care. :) i blog for my own self gratification.
